Roma's Read

Overall

This was a very mixed read. Quite a few swords indicating some anguish, but also some very happy cards in terms of home life stability. A feeling of some restlessness here, and wanting to move forward and maybe do something a bit new, maybe work or hobby-wise. I get the feeling of a need to channel energy into something.

st House – this is about you, how you project yourself and how others see you. The Ace of Swords. New beginnings in many ways – how you see things. Thinking about things differently.

nd House – this is about your money and self worth, things that make you feel safe and secure. King of Swords – the ultimate intellectual; This is either a facet of you coming out or could mean someone else in your life - a strong male influence taking control in a rational (not emotional) way. Maybe this card is signifying what you need at the moment.

rd House – Your day-to-day environment; communication, neighbours, siblings, short journeys. 5 of Cups. This is a feeling of loss or sadness and sometimes not realising that Cups can be half full as well as half empty. A slight ‘down’ feeling at the moment – but 5 of Cups also has an upside in that 2 of the 5 Cups aren’t overturned and spilt – you just need to see the positives.

th House – family, home, roots and emotional security. 10 of Pentacles. Fantastic card. A lot of stability. You are pretty well where you want to be in terms of home and material security. Family and home stable and secure.

th House – Your self expression, creativity and everything that is fun for you. 3 of Wands. The Sun in Aries. I get a feeling of restlessness here. You may be looking out over what you have achieved so far and wondering what you can do next. A new project on the horizon perhaps?

th house – Your attitude to your work (as opposed to your career), and possibly your health. The Hermit. A major arcana card, so this is important for you. A feeling of wanting to off on your own. And not minding that. Taking time out on your own and finding your own way. Perhaps not hugely participating in, for example, work-based social activities. Keeping yourself to yourself, but not in a bad way – just keeping your distance and not letting anyone close.

th house – long term relationships, romantic and business. Temperance. Another major card. A need for balance and moderation. Sometimes mixing things that don’t look like they work at face value but they actually do. Dealing with opposing factions sometimes. Keeping the peace. Keeping calm. Keeping one foot on the ground.

th House – joint finances and possessions, may also be about personal psychology, attitude to change; sexuality. The Tower. Out with the old, in with the new in a sudden traumatic way. Big changes – not necessarily for the worst but may be jolting and unwelcome at the time.

th House – Higher learning and your belief systems. This can include your sense of adventure. 2 of Swords. This is a bit of a stalemate card. Is there something you fancy doing that you just can’t move forwards with? Or are you stuck in a bit of a rut in terms of your own self-advancement? Is there maybe something that you’d like to do but feel constrained? Break free and go for it!

th House – Career / profession, responsibilities, your reputation and standing. 7 of Swords. This is often known as the ‘thief’ or deceit card. It is also about someone doing things that others can’t see. My take here would be that you are perhaps a bit of a ‘dark horse’ at work, and perhaps don’t always show all your talents. Perhaps sometimes you hide your light under a bushel too much?

th House – your aspirations and personal goals; social groups. The Wheel. Another major card. The good luck card. But the Wheel is mostly about serendipity rather than taking control. But it is a very lucky card. But do you need to take a bigger steer on things yourself sometimes?

th House – Privacy, secrets, karma. 7 of Cups. The difficult choices card. Things don’t always appear as they seem, and what might seem to be the most attractive way forward isn’t. Too many options. This is also your desire for privacy – about your choices. That resonates.
